After the month that was, October is proving to be a month of blessings. We’re still not back at work, but hubby’s eye is healing well. Yesterday, we visited his optometrist to see if a prescription change in his lenses would improve the quality of vision post-surgery. After a thorough exam and lots of testing, a new set of glasses was ordered. Eureka! The healing is progressing better than expected at this stage. We came home with hope renewed and hearts filled with gratitude.
The gratitude comes not only from the good news, but also in acknowledgement to the family and friends around the world who were and are praying for us. I’ve always been a huge believer in the power of prayer, but it still fills me with awe when prayers are answered so clearly and so neatly. Our God is not only loving, but ever-generous and gracious with the blessings we have and continue to receive. And, the pray-ers are a concrete sign of that same love, generosity and graciousness. So to all….THANK YOU!!!
Oh, and we’ve finally cleared all the necessary paper-work with the insurance companies and are cleared to go ahead with the office renovations. All will be fixed. And, all shall be well. 🙂
